Founding and Background: Tres Nietas, Inc., founded by Darrell K. Julian, is a well-established construction company with deep roots in the framing and construction industry. Darrell Julian, born in Guymon, Oklahoma, in 1954, began his construction career in 1975 after moving to Amarillo, Texas. 

In the late 1990s to early 2000s, Darrell Julian Construction expanded its portfolio significantly, successfully building over 100 restaurants across the state of New Mexico.

In 1999, Darrell recognized “precision is king” in layout to achieve the desired volume, leading him to establish his successful wall panel plant. Since then, Tres Nietas Inc. has successfully built over 3 million lineal feet of wall panels. The company has shipped its products across the Southwest, reaching locations as far west as Calabasas, California.

By 2007, the company achieved a remarkable milestone by constructing 1,686 homes in a single year, further demonstrating its capacity for large-volume projects. After a dedicated 39 years in the business, Darrell decided to retire, but his retirement was short-lived as he came back to start Tres Nietas, Inc only 6 months later. He often remarked that "Jesus dragged him back into the framing business," reflecting his passion for construction.

Reinvigorated by this calling, Darrell founded Tres Nietas, Inc., channeling his extensive experience and energy into new ventures. Under his leadership, Tres Nietas focused the companies energy towards multi-story, multi-family developments and large-scale commercial projects, continuing his legacy in the construction industry while adapting to the evolving demands of the market.
